Amelia is driven by her belief that architecture is a setting for life. Naturally inquisitive, Amelia seeks clarity of vision and intent in every brief, bringing architectural intelligence to projects from early concept through delivery. Together with Isabelle, Amelia leads the design direction of the studio’s work.
A born pragmatist, Amelia has extensive experience in collaboration and creative problem-solving, and a strong interest in integrating architecture, public art, heritage, and landscape. Selected projects — including Waterloo Metro Quarter, Corrimal Cokeworks, Marrickville Timber Yards, Zetland Housing, Rosebery Seniors, and AMRF Building 2 — demonstrate her versatile design approach and her ability to coordinate cross-disciplinary consultant teams to deliver fresh and distinctive outcomes.
After graduating from the University of NSW with the University Medal in Architecture in 2004, she went on to complete an MA in Architectural History and Critical Thinking at the Architectural Association in London in 2012.
Actively involved in the architectural community, Amelia currently sits on the NSW Chapter Council of the Australian Institute of Architects. She previously served on the jury for several industry awards and prizes and is currently a member of both the City of Sydney’s Public Art Advisory Panel and the NSW State Design Review Panel. Amelia is the recipient of numerous awards, including the NSW Emerging Architects Prize, the Dulux Study Tour, and the NSW Board of Architects Medallion.
