Team

Aileen Sage Director, Isabelle Toland, joined the Australian Institute of Architects NSW Chapter Awards as Jury Chair for the Sustainability category. Exploring what sustainability means across a breadth of architectural practice and projects is of particular interest to us, with consideration for how we, as a profession, engage in the conversation.

Isabelle also joined the Australian Good Design Awards Jury, Built Environment category for a second year this year, alongside industry experts from across Australia, from all fields of design. The Australian Good Design Awards celebrates excellence in design and innovation, spanning design, architecture, engineering, research, fashion and social impact. They are an opportunity for the design industry as a whole to come together and share views and perspectives across a wide range of experiences and disciplines.

Additionally, Isabelle is pleased to continue her role as part of the Museums of History NSW (MHNSW) Heritage Advisory Committee providing independent advice on the management, programming and conservation of MHNSW’s properties across NSW, having regard to their historic, social and architectural interest and significance. The committee provides guidance and knowledge from a range of external voices with diverse backgrounds. MHNSW’s properties are intriguing and highly varied, including Elizabeth Bay House, Hyde Park Barracks, The Mint, Caroline Simpson Library, Justice & Police Museum, The State Archives Reading Room, Elizabeth Farm, Meroogal, Museum of Sydney, Rose Seidler House, Rouse Hill Estate, Susannah Place in the Rocks and Vaucluse House.
