We’re proud to be part of A New Normal Sydney: A ‘do-tank’ approach that translates good intentions, ambitious targets and collective will power, creativity and intelligence into practical, tangible and scalable projects necessary to transform our streets, neighbourhoods and cities from consumers (of water & energy that create loads of waste) to self-sufficient producers of water, energy that send zero waste to landfill. Leaving us with a city that will never run out.

Ours is one of the 19 projects included from some of Sydney’s 50 brightest and boldest. Projects operate across varying scales and can be applied throughout all parts of our city - from laneways to suburbia.

Projects are site-specific and all are ready to be further developed as pilot projects that can achieve impact at scale.

This is about fast-tracking solutions through the rapid deployment of pilot projects. This implementation approach offers evidence and insight that can help inform government policy, regulation and incentives, and a way that is understood, supported by, and benefits the community, private and public sectors.

Upon realisation, these projects will unlock a $120 billion transformation of Greater Sydney; create 80k+ jobs, and help secure Sydney’s future as one able to withstand future shocks and emerge more resilient and self-sufficient.
